I started taking pictures in the early 70's with a film camera, and then in the 90's I shifted over to digital. Shortly after that I got serious about photography and it was about then I learned to stop "taking pictures" and start making photographs. The difference between taking pictures and making photographs is knowledge and learning how to bend light. An understanding of the camera and light is the key. Classes with photography instructors like Roger Baker of Albuquerque, New Mexico, helped me to learn new techniques winch I am putting into practice. I believe when you stop learning you stop moving forward. I live just outside of Albuquerque now, so the photo possibilities are endless.
Now here is the bragging part: Recently I entered a photo contest on line and won, with international recognition. My photo was published in two books and is now in the Library of Congress. O.K.: Back to the bio. I enjoy making photos of farm life, hot air balloons, pets, weddings, and the beauty of nature, but my passion is people. I have a camera in reach most of the time because I never know when I might be able to capture a "frozen moment." Some of the photos in the web galleries are for sale: just contact me for prices or just to say if you like them. Notice I did not say to call if you do not like the photos (Ha,Ha!). If you have any questions, please give me a call and always see the world as art. Are your images for sale? Are you available for private photo sessions or special events? Can I purchase the digital files? |
